About Me

My name is Amanda, a proud Jersey girl born and raised. Growing up, much of my travel adventures included trips to the Jersey Shore and the magical world of Disney. But in 2015, I did the most adventurous thing ever: armed with a brand-new college degree, I took a leap of faith and moved to Florida for my first "big girl" job. That bold move ignited my passion for adventure and exploration.

Now, I'm an engineer by day and a travel enthusiast by night and weekend, based in sunny Orlando, Florida, alongside my wonderful husband. My love for learning and exploring new places has always driven me. There's nothing better than discovering something new, whether it's a unique culture, a handy travel hack, delicious food, or the latest in technology.

I created Ingenium Adventures by combining the Latin word for engineer, "ingenium," with "adventures," as they are my two greatest passions in life. This blog is a space to share my travel experiences, insights, and the valuable lessons I've picked up along the way. I hope my stories and tips inspire and help you on your own journeys.
